FAQs

  • Yes! Life happens, so if you’d like to reschedule your walk or workshop, you can do. Just get in touch.

    Please note: you can apply for a refund within 14 days of your original bookings date but reschedules made within 14 days of your event will be not be possible.

    In this case, we can provide a 50% discount code for another date, but unfortunately we can’t accommodate reschedules or refunds within a 14 day timeframe.

    Any questions or queries with the above, please do let me know!

  • All our walks are slow and will go at the pace of those with us.

    If you have any additional needs e.g. finding uphill difficult, please let me know so we can make sure we adjust the route accordingly.

    This is no problem can be arranged for any walk or workshop so just get in touch.

  • If you are pregnant, do let me know, as above, we can adjust the walk for your pace no problem, this is also essential in case there are any contraindications with some plants we encounter.

  • Bus routes are available from the centre of town to most locations (+15min walk max) and they are all in BS postcodes.

    If you are struggling with public transport, get in touch and we can try to arrange a car share for you.

  • There is free parking surrounding all meeting points and places to lock up bikes.

    You will be sent specific details about your meeting location in your booking confirmation email so you can make travel plans.

  • Absolutely! We have an offer to learn with a friend. Receive 10% off your booking if you enter FORAGEPALS at the checkout when booking for two people. Applicable to any walk or workshop.

    We also have discounts for NHS / Key Workers and bursaries available for those in financial difficulty, get in touch if this is you!

  • Yes, please do, however you choose to learn best.

    A notepad can be used for sketches and doodles and photos or filming is always welcome, whatever will help you best.

  • I’m definitely going to share which of these plants are edible, usual ways to use them and familiar tastes, you can then decide if you’d like to taste it, but there is no pressure.

    These walks and workshops focus on reigniting your senses to the edible wild plants and different character profiles, whether that is through touch, smell or taste.

  • Sure, please send a note to say you’ll be bringing your four-legged pal.

    To consider everyone in the group, we encourage you to consider the temperament of your dog and how they are with small groups of people.

  • Yes of course, we welcome children under 12 years old for free.

    Please let me know how many children are coming with you when booking! Max 2 children per adult space.

Terms & Conditions

Refund Policy

1.1 No Refunds for no shows: Please note, if you cannot attend the event, we cannot offer a refund for these places. Please see the rebooking policy for details of how to rearrange.

1.2 Refund Eligibility: All bookings are non-refundable.

1.3 Cancellations: We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations. Please see our rescheduling policy if you need to change your booking date.

Rescheduling Policy

2.1 Rescheduling Guidelines: Participants can reschedule their foraging walk up to 7 days before the scheduled event, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within this period will be accommodated without additional fees.

2.2 Late Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule within 7 days of the event will not be accepted.

2.3 Rescheduling Procedure: To reschedule, email hello@healingweeds.co.uk up to 7 days before the event.

Event Cancellations by Us

3.1 Healing Weeds Cancellations: If we need to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather), participants will be offered the option to rebook for a future date or receive a full refund.
