✦ Welcome to our new clinic
Do you want to:
- understand what's going on in your body
- stop getting confused about endless supplements
- go beyond managing your symptoms
We’re here to support you!
What we’ll talk about in a session:
what you want to change
your current symptoms + past medical history
your digestion, stress, sleep, food + daily habits
What you’ll receive after the session:
unique treatment plan to support your health condition
(if relevant) herbal medicines in the form of teas, tinctures, powders
Optional support always included:
advocacy and assistance accessing other forms of healthcare
ongoing text support throughout the month
advice on other medications and supplements
Hey there,
I’m Maria Fernandez Garcia, NIMH
I’m qualified to treat a range of conditions using herbal medicine, but I’ll always be honest about when herbal medicine is not right for you.
I will also advocate for you to get the right support from your GP / other health professionals, contributing to a wider team of care in your health journey.
-
One month of medicine (tincture + tea) is usually around £50, on top of your consultation fee. We’ll always work together to balance everything to be as affordable - and effective - as possible.
Healing Weeds Clinic holds one bursary place at any given time, offered at a reduced rate for the full course of a patient's treatment plan. For this, we prioritise applicants from refugee, asylum-seeking and racialised backgrounds; global majority patients; trans and non-binary people; frontline activists; and anyone experiencing or recovering from trauma.

Where to find us
📍 70 Prince Street, BS1 4QD
Our clinic is held in the same space as Helen Rideout, an incredible herbalist and friend - and someone I trained with for some of my 500 clinical hours. I’ve learned so much from her practice so I’m really grateful to be sharing this beautiful space. Helen’s clinic is open on Tuesdays - Thursdays.
What if I don’t want a full consultation?
We always want to suggest what’s best for you, so you can:
book to discuss one specific issue; we can sign-post you to the right support and/ or suggest things you can try at home
