✦ Identification skills
Learn where edible and toxic plants grow, when to trust your judgement and how to safely forage on your own. You’ll leave with knowledge and a foundation in finding our most abundant wild food.
✦ Sensory learning
Always an invitation to touch, taste and smell as we use all our senses, curiosities and memories to reconnect. Recognise plants with confidence by drawing on these experiences.
✦ Accessible wild plants
All ages and abilities welcome, we'll stick to the paths as much as possible. If you have additional access needs, we can adjust our route and pace, get in touch - maria@healingweeds.co.uk.

We invite you to interact with plants but there is no pressure to do this, however this is not advised if you are pregnant or on certain medications. Only Conham River Park has a regularly open public toilet.
We are a neurodivergence, disability, LGBTQIA+ and refugee friendly space, please know you are welcome here and hate speech or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
We also ask that you do not attend a walk if you are actively infectious with any type of cold or cough so we can continue to keep each other safe in as many ways as possible.
-
We live in an abundance of rain in Bristol so we will hope for sunshine and will go ahead in most weathers, however, please wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes.
If there are any safety concerns e.g. winds of over 40mph, or the rain is so heavy you can’t see or hear anything, we will likely cancel and you will be sent a gift card code to reschedule on any future walk date.
-
All session bookings are non-refundable. If you’d like to reschedule your session, you can do so up to 14 days before the booking date onto any future date, availability permitting.
