✦ What to expect
All ages and abilities welcome, suitable for beginners and intermediate foragers.
✦ Sensory learning - we encourage using all five senses across the session and welcome discussions and thoughts from everyone.
✦ Reducing fear - learn when to trust your judgement, where toxic plants hang out and how to safely forage on your own.
✦ Expanding knowledge - leave with skills to share this knowledge and start using wild food and medicine with confidence.
You’ll leave with knowledge and a foundation in finding our most abundant wild foods and medicines, where plants grow and how to find them again.
If you have any additional access needs, send us an email and we will accommodate for you - maria@healingweeds.co.uk
✦ Safety and community care
We invite you to interact with plants but there is no pressure to do this, however this is not advised if you are pregnant or on certain medications. Only Conham River Park has a regularly open public toilet.
We are a neurodivergence, disability, LGBTQIA+ and refugee friendly space, please know you are welcome here and hate speech or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
We also ask that you do not attend a walk if you are actively infectious with any type of cold or cough so we can continue to keep each other safe in as many ways as possible.

If there are any safety concerns e.g. winds of over 40mph, or the rain is so heavy you can’t see or hear anything, we will likely cancel and you will be sent a gift card code to reschedule on any future walk date.
