What’s included:

✦ Sensory learning - using touch and taste to share experiences with others.

✦ Reduce fear - learn when to trust your judgement and how to safely forage on your own.

✦ Find growth - leave with skills and knowledge to start using wild food and medicine with confidence.

All ages and abilities welcome, suitable for beginners and intermediate foragers.

You’ll leave with knowledge and a foundation in finding our most abundant wild foods and medicines, where plants grow and how to find them again.

There’ll be lots of time to ask questions, get curious about common myths and misconceptions we’ve been taught about the value of wild plants that grow all around us.

Transport:

Our meeting point is at the (small, but free) car park at the bottom of Conham Hill, BS15 3AW.

The C4 and 44 bus take you nearby (include a 15min walk downhill to the river). There are railings to lock up bikes too.

Accessibility:

Sliding scale prices helps make this knowledge accessible. Please consider your financial situation and systemic barriers, not just emotions about what you can afford. Thank you! Your support helps create a more equitable platform, and I’m grateful for your contribution.

All our walks are slow and will go at the pace of those with us.

If you have additional needs or need us to adapt the route to make it wheelchair accessible, please get in touch so we can ensure we plan adequately for you!

Please bring weather appropriate clothing and shoes; we'll keep to the paths as much as possible, but may stray off them a bit and they can get a little muddy.

Weather changes:

We live in the beautiful British weather system that often sees lovely patches of rain across the city.

We will hope for sunshine but we will go ahead in most weathers.

If there are any safety concerns e.g. winds of over 40mph or the rain is so heavy you can’t see anything, you will receive a message 24hrs before we are due to meet in this case, with an update on weather conditions and options.

In the case of a reschedule, you will be sent a free spaces code which you can use to book onto any future walk date.
